Mark Zylker - Founder / Coach Mark is a founding member of the Kingwood Alliance Soccer Club. He is a USSF National Licensed Coach and trained for the Crosby Soccer Club. Mark played collegiately for California State at Hayward and was named Team Captain and All-District. Mark is a community resident. Carlos Gil - Founder / Coach Carlos is a founding member of the Kingwood Alliance Soccer Club. He is a USSF National Licensed Coach. Carlos played professionally in Colombia as well as collegiately at Houston Baptist University where he was named to the All-American Team. Carlos is a community resident. Jimmy O'Sullivan - Director of Training / Coach From 1995 until 2007, O’Sullivan served as a State Coach and Senior State Staff Member of the Olympic Development Program (ODP) for Area 4 for the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). He has worked with local leagues such as Eclipse Soccer Club, Cy-Fair Youth Soccer Club, McAllen Youth Soccer Club and Kingwood Texas Heat Soccer Club. He has his English Coaching license and is certified in the English Full Badge Course (equivalent to a USSF National “A” license course in the United States). He began his career in the United States as Coach and Director of North American Soccer Camps. Jimmy and his family (wife Velma and daughters, Alyssa and Eilish) are community residents. 2009 - United States National Staff Scout for USSF Academy 2009 – Region III Regional Staff Coach 2005 to 2009 – Eclipse Soccer Club 1995 to 2007 - State Coach, Senior State Staff Member of the Olympic Development Program, (O.D.P.), for Area 4 for the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA). Responsible for selecting, coaching and player development of the '90 South Texas Boys through to sub-regional events level. Also coached the ‘82,'83 and ‘87 Boys in the same capacity.
1993 to 2003 - Professional Trainer, with Kingwood Texas Heat Soccer Club. Assisted in the design, start-up and subsequent expansion of the Texas Heat and Texas Wave soccer programs, as well as player coaching instruction and development.
1992 to 1993 - Professional Trainer, Cy-Fair Youth Soccer Club. Position consisted of coaching of players with an emphasis on individual development, technical sharpness, improvisational skills, fitness, and game awareness. 1990 to 1992 - Coach & Director, McAllen Youth Soccer Club. Responsible for player development and assisting of the creation of club infrastructure for the McAllen Border Bandits Select Program. Daymon Couvillon - Trainer / Coach Daymon is a USSF National Licensed coach and has trained for the Kingwood Humble Area Youth Soccer Association, Texans Soccer Club, and Kingwood Alliance Soccer Club in addition to running his own summer camp, Camp Couvillon. Prior to professional coaching, Daymon was involved with professional soccer and received a full soccer scholarship to Colorado Christian University where he was named captain and an All-American. Daymon is a Kingwood High School Alumnus and received All State honors. Daymon is a community resident. Alex Rogina - Trainer /Coach Alex is a USSF National Licensed coach and holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Coaches Association of America. He received a full soccer scholarship to Sam Houston State University where he was named to the NCAA Midwest Soccer Team by the National Coaches Association of America. Alex is currently the Head Boys Soccer Coach at Atascocita High School and was the Assistant Coach at Kingwood High School for eight years. Alex is a community resident. Doug Sitton - Trainer /Coach Doug is a USSF National Licensed coach and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education. Doug was the Director of Coaching and Player Development for U-Cities United, Sandpoint Strikers Soccer Club, Pullman Soccer Club and the Pullman High School Varsity Boys Coach where they were state champions. Doug was an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for the Idaho Olympic Development Program (ODP) and has also trained for the Texas Rush. Doug played for the Idaho Olympic Development Program (ODP) team and the University of Idaho. Doug is a community resident. |
