Youth Academy Program U7-U10

Kingwood Alliance SC is excited to offer Professional Training for the upcoming season for U7-U10 players through the Youth Academy Program run by Texans Soccer Club - BOYS and Challenge Soccer Club - GIRLS. The Academy Program has been designed to create a love for the game of soccer in the early stages of development, but introduces players to a more structured soccer environment prior to joining the Competitive Program. The emphasis will be on developing basic ball skills, utilizing soccer instincts, and creativity through technical training and a more developmental game environment. The Academy coaching staff is specially selected and trained to provide this introduction to competitive soccer in an environment conducive to player development, and fun!

Training Sessions

Training sessions are conducted by the professional staff of the Texans and Challenge Soccer Clubs. The training sessions are devised to help each player improve technically (skills), tactically (decision-making), physically (fitness) and psychologically (mental toughness). Training sessions are held twice per week at North Park fields and run by a USSF licensed coach who will follow a training curriculum based on the USSF youth guidelines. All players will be training in pools divided by age and skill level.

Match Play

Teams will be formed from training pools and compete on Saturdays at designated locations. Half of the games will be played at Kingwood and half throughout North Houston against other like-kind players. These teams will be based on individual abilities while also giving a chance for all players to be put in a position to be successful in their development. All players will participate.
