U12 Girls Navy Place 3rd in State Championship!

The U12 Girls Navy squad recently competed at the State Tournament in San Antonio, Texas, after finishing 2nd in the Eastern District championship. Having competed in the Eastern District tournament the previous three seaons, they finally earned a trip to play for the state title. Opening ties against the Western Divison teams and a 3-2 loss to the other Eastern District team were full of excitement, great moving soccer, and team spirit. Unfortunately, each game was an opportunity short of gracing the girls with victories, in which they gave everything they had. Congratulations to the girls for a great season and bringing home the 3rd place medal!
